A collaboration between Lexis English and The Culinary Academy, the Lexis Bar and Cocktail course provides high quality bar training with a focus on real-world work outcomes.
This two week program combines essential bar, wine and beer skills with a practical qualifications including SITHFAB021 Responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification which is essential to work in Australia.
Every student will receive at least eight hours of supervised work experience serving the public at our fully operational bar.
Join us as we delve into the art of mixology, exploring exotic ingredients, mastering essential techniques, and crafting signature cocktails that are sure to impress!

The Lexis Bar and Cocktail course has been crafted by my team of industry professionals to provide international students with the tools and expertise needed to succeed in the competitive hospitality industry.
Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical training, you’ll learn the ins and outs of mixology, beverage service, and bar management.
Our focus on professionalism and workplace skills ensures you’re not just technically proficient, but also equipped for effective communication and teamwork.

- Bar set-up
- Preparation of garnishes
- Taking drink orders, making recommendations and up-selling
- Taking payment and operation of point-of-sale terminals
- Preparation and service of beer, wine, mixed drinks and cocktails
- Cocktail and innovation
- Serving drinks using appropriate glassware and garnishes
- Safe and efficient operation and management of a working bar

Great experience. Waiters still in training but working well. Food was good size servings but would have liked a meat/protein on the menu. Waiter lapsed at the end by not offering coffee or tea or bringing us our account.
Couldn't be happier with our meal or the service. Unexpectedly we had to arrange a quick meal and they couldn't have tried harder to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the staff absolutely brilliant. We'll be back. Thank you and well done.
The food quality was excellent and well presented. Service overall was good. There is room for improvement in serving drinks, remembering drink/water orders and clearing the table. Back for the third time, overall food quality and service excellent again. Pork belly of the bao bun was a little dry and pepper ought to be either on every table or offered when serving the main course. Crepe Suzette was delicious! Lunch is fantastic value and we'll be back! Thank you all students that created these beautiful lunches at the Culinary Noosa!

One of the hidden gems of Noosa. The culinary school students both on the floor and in the kitchen produced and served meals of restaurant quality. You will have to book well in advance to grab a table! 2nd lunch and it was good as the first. In the immortal words of Arnie: We'll be back!" 😁 Now our 5th lunch here and the standard of meals is still up there. Well ddne this class. Arnie still rules, we'll be back. Well done.
Lunch at the Culinary school in Noosa was great. The service was good, the students. Stated with the Bao Bun which was lovely. My partner had the salad and she loved it. For main I went with the rump which was ok but I think was a little dry as I would have liked more sauce to go with it. The flavour were there. My friend had the goat and loved it. The dessert of the orange cake was lovely and moist, but the chocolate was a bit too rich. Looking forward to coming back again.

I organised lunch for a friend s birthday, the staff (students) were lovely and came out to sing Happy Birthday with dessert.The food was very good and very reasonably priced.

Entre of gougere was lovely, main of veg tart nice, but too much onion & capsicun for me, I'd prefer mushroom & asparagus. Everything else great thanks 👍
Food very well presented and tasty! Our servers generally very pleasant. Room for improvement? Wine glass sat empty for a while - perhaps could have been asked if we wanted more. Overall a very positive experience. Thank you.
